Hello! My name is Hailey.

I am honored to serve mothers during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum!

I am a nurse, certified birth and postpartum doula, and childbirth educator! I am also a momma to two sweet girls. I’ve always been interested in the birth world, even from a young age!

After having my first child, I realized I didn’t really know what birth and postpartum resources were available or how to search for them, especially in a rural area like Eastern Washington. I struggled to know what my choices were for birth, or what I really wanted my birth to look like. While I took a class and thought I knew what I wanted and how to achieve it, my birth did not go as planned (which was ok!). I was then left alone in the postpartum period to navigate what felt like becoming a whole new person. Unsure of who I was anymore, I craved a community that was going through the same thing. I struggled with breastfeeding, returning to work, and finding my new self as a mom.

It might be the nurse part of me, or just my personality, but I want to help make it easier for moms to adjust during the transition into motherhood, whether it be in how they choose to give birth, or during those tough months (or years!) postpartum, by providing support catered to their individual needs and helping moms make informed choices about their care.

I believe that education is so important for moms. I want to provide them with the tools to make informed choices for their care and are able to plan for the unknowns. I want to bring awareness to all the different options you have when giving birth. With the knowledge that up to 45% of women report experiencing birth trauma (March of Dimes), I hope to minimize that by providing evidence-based information, advocacy, and physical and emotional support throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
