“When my husband and I decided to have a doula, we did not know how it would change our birth story for the better. Our son was born prematurely at 34 weeks via emergency C-section, this was not our ideal birth plan at all. Hailey was an absolute pillar of knowledge and strength throughout the entire birth.
She arrived at the hospital promptly and jumped right into our very scary situation remaining calm. Hailey was extremely attentive to me as I was getting prepped and terrified for surgery. I was so grateful we had talked through our game plan in our meetings about having a C-section as Hailey made sure all of our C-section birth plan was honored.
